The issue itself does concern me...this thing is much more about money and politics rather than actual truth it's sad. What's worse is it can all happen regardless of public opinion on the issue, which isn't right.
I think it all scares me. It reeks of more than a step backwards and insults us by assuming we can't determine what is reality and what is not. There is so much information out there to double check on facts, why do we need the government to determine what is truth? That really opens up a nest of hornets when there could be other reasons besides honesty involved here.
Patricia, I just managed to go back to Richard Owl Mirror's article on Hannity and Rush. You have made some very valid points and I'd say a home run on the background of www.mediamatters.org. Holy cow! Do you think we could make money on seeking out liberal lies in the media? What a concept!
